Hi, I'm Tamica Sears, The Corporate Fixer, the brains behind Sears Coaching and your go-to HR Consultant and Executive Coach. You could say I'm in the business of transforming organizations and leaders, but what I really do is create a domino effect of positive, impactful change. You know how companies often find themselves grappling with operational inefficiencies, mediocre leadership, and low employee morale? Yeah, that's where I come in. I roll up my sleeves and dig deep, using over 20 years of hard-earned wisdom to unlock the fullest potential of your organization and its people. Sure, I've been a featured speaker at national events, coached everyone from CEOs to front-line staff, and been the catalyst for organizational turnarounds, but what really gets me up in the morning is the knowledge that I’m equipping people to be better—better leaders, better teams, better humans. I'm not just talking about checklists and flowcharts. I'm talking about inspiring a culture of inclusivity, innovation, and ongoing personal growth. But here's the deal: I’m not for everyone. I’m for the leaders and organizations ready to look in the mirror and take on the good, the bad, and the downright uncomfortable. Ready to redefine what 'success' looks like in today’s complex, ever-changing world? Let's talk. We're in this together, and the transformation is not only possible; it's just a conversation away. And yes, I work with HR teams, too! Want to read my book "How To Tell If You're An A**Hole Boss? https://searscoaching.com/author-tamica-sears/
"I really appreciated how well she reframed my concerns about interactions as a manager in such a way for me to see the positives of my conversations/approach, rather than focusing on the negative/uncomfortable aspects."
Tamica Sears asked thoughtful questions and provided excellent feedback. I particularly like her style of combining insight with actionable steps
I felt very comfortable with my coach and safe to discuss sensitive items. I felt heard and came out of the meeting with action items on which to work on until our next meeting.
It was very helpful in discussing and developing an approach to handling feedback to a high-performing but behaviorally problematic employee in my line of reporting. Tamica shared a number of resources post-session that should help to educate me in how to not only address how this employee's behavior is negatively impacting the work teams, but to be able to better articulate to the employee how it is negatively impacting their career opportunities with our organization.
• So helpful in organizing how to have difficult conversations and provide coaching to those that we lead. • I always feel that not only do I know where my places to evolve are, but am encouraged to get outside of the comfort zone and really evolve. • She is an excellent listener; she asks probing questions; she provides though-provoking follow-up exercises • Good use of questions to dig deeper into an issue/feeling. Allowed me to come to my own realizations and plan for constructive changes
Tamica had great insight, was a good listener and had good actionable suggestions. It was a great session.
It is very helpful to be able to talk things out and be asked open ended questions about how I feel an improvement can be brought about. I also appreciate that she helps me mentally. create next steps to focus on. She allowed me to vent recent frustrations and talk through some action steps.
I immediately felt so comfortable to share my experience as a new people-manager. I usually take more time to be comfortable with people, but Tamica made it easy. Also, she holds me accountable for plans made during our sessions and pushes me to come up with ideas to solve issues that I'm facing.
