I thoroughly enjoyed working with Quianna over the past month. We decided that a package of five sessions would match my needs and we went well above and beyond what I was expecting to get out of our meetings!

Not only did Quianna help me narrow down which field I should be looking for a career in, but she also helped me discover what motivates me professionally and why I was so unhappy in my previous position. An awesome part of her approach is how she starts with the foundation of who you are. I hadn't wanted to admit that I was severely lacking in professional confidence. However, she encouraged me to tackle that head on before we began talking about a new career field and those initial discussions were immensely helpful. 
Logistically speaking, scheduling and communicating with Quianna between sessions was very easy as well. Over the course of our sessions, I contacted her via text message, phone call and email and she was always very prompt and friendly in her replies. 

On a personal level, I truly enjoyed working with Quianna. She was incredibly warm and understanding and made me feel that I could be comfortable and open with her about what I was looking for and how I felt about my new job search. Not only did she help me before I began looking for a new job in a new field, but I believe that she can help others with any variety of questions or problems about their current or future work experiences.

After 14 years, I started doing a job search for a new position and realized that I had to do things a bit differently. A co-worker suggested a career coach to help me out. I found Happy Work Week via Yelp and met with Quianna for an initial consultation. Right off the bat I really enjoyed her positive and enthusiastic energy. Our first meeting was probably over an hour, but went by pretty quickly. I felt really comfortable talking to her and answering her questions about past and current work situation and what I am looking for in the future. 

Although it felt like an ordinary conversation with a friend, she took extensive notes and sent me a recap email, along with "homework" to address some professional issues to help me move in a better direction with my approach to searching for a new job. During the course of my time working with her, via telephone, Skype and face-to-face, I always walked away with another perspective of ways to job search and how my current employment situation might have gotten me stuck in my thinking. 

After making a few adjustments, I got a couple of phone interviews and a face-to-face interview. Notified Quianna about my face-to-face, and she met with me before the interview to go over some possible interview questions and basically prep me about my approach to the interview since it had been 14 years since my last one. It was definitely well worth the investment and time working with Quianna. I would highly recommend her, especially if you find yourself searching for the next step in your career after more than a decade of being at the same spot. I really enjoyed working with her.
