Finding the right guidance takes time, energy and often times, a lot of trial and error. Luckily, I instantly knew I was in the right hands after my first session with Ashley. She helped me work through deep rooted trauma and helped me understand and connect some of my current feelings and issues back to things from my past. She asked questions that allowed me to think deeply about my behaviors and opened my eyes to things I never realized were connected which allowed me to work through my issues easier. She also really helped me re-wire my thought process to be healthier and to give myself more grace. I genuinely believe Ashley has a gift and the ability to truly help others. What I like most and dislike most about Ashley's style is she is not afraid to say what she thinks even it if upsets her clients.  Making them stop and think and process their own train of thought is beneficial even if frustrating at times.  She doesn't mind making people uncomfortable and taking them out of their comfort zone but she doesn't push too hard when she recognizes they are not ready.  She takes client concerns seriously but leaves it at that until she realizes that there is an actual concern to address.  She is willing to look at every angle of the family to help find resolution for everyone.

Talking with Ashley was hard, really hard if I’m being honest and required me to put my pride aside and open up again. It was also a pivotal part of my healing process for many reasons and for that I can never truly find the words to thank her for how she helped me through a really really difficult time in my life. Although I still have work to do and things to heal through, I am better equipped to do so and continue to remind myself my feelings are valid, what I’ve dealt with isn’t normal, nor does it have to consume me anymore.
