Fear / Reactivity / Aggression
*** We are now able to offer 3rd party financing if you qualify. Please ask for an invoice to be generated ***
These sessions are designed to address fear, reactivity and aggression in dogs. Though some basic obedience might be taught in the course of the treatment plan, the main focus of the lessons are to address the dog's underlying emotional issues and help with behaviors that fall outside of regular obedience training. These lessons are done exclusively by Christi Kirby-Baron, CPDT-KA, IAABC-ADT, NADOI (1145/C)
Pre-payment is required for the full intake and planning session. This session is similar to seeing a health care or mental health professional for the first time. You will be able to give me information and ask questions.
The first step will be filling out the questionnaire that will be sent you immediately upon purchase. You will then set a time and date for the next step which includes your full Intake Interview, history and fact gathering discussion and assessment.
Once we meet by zoom and get the full picture, I will then
Working up a detailed Functional Analysis of behavior and Intervention Plan designed to address your dog's personal needs.
Your committment to the training plan and ability to follow through with lessons has an immeasureable impact on the process and the need for additional training time. There is no real way to predict the number of lessons you will need, and some dogs will need periodic maintenance throughout their lives.
Once you commit to working though your plan with me, some of the resouces you will have available include:
Providing information to your Veterinarian to aid in your dog's treatment and care with his/her medical team.
Email and Text Message support
In-person lessons at the training center or at another location if deemed appropriate by the course of the treatment plan
Zoom or FaceTime lessons
The ability to have me consult with your Veterinarian, Groomer, Dog Walker or other professional, should they be willing to collaborate on your dog's behavioral needs
Video review and feedback
