"James is an understanding, non judgmental, and motivating coach in every way. He offers many ideas to find solutions and helps you work through whatever you want to accomplish."
I have been working on my “homework assignment,” and honestly, it’s very helpful to me to see on a piece of paper the “thoughts” and purge the ones that aren’t helpful or true from my life. I’m more open to showing affection and receiving it without feeling guilty or unworthy.
My experience with Coach Walter began with a literary "Why am I talking to this stranger about my relationship with my husband?" To give some context, my relationship was based solely on functioning around providing for the children (3-4 & 8 y/o) and there was no time for conversation and many arguments and misunderstandings repeatedly during the week. My husband then searched the internet for a resource or place to help couples, found James, and had individual sessions before I learned about this. Honestly, as a wife, I was very far from being happy or satisfied, and many times I asked myself if I wanted to continue my life with someone who seemed more like my roommate than that person, I once thought was my soulmate. Walter always displayed a patient and receptive attitude when inquiring about my position, feelings, and ideal relationship. After some weeks and multiple tasks and homework, I gradually felt the need to break the ice, reconnect with my husband, and understand his perspective. I understood that he was always there and also yearned to connect with me, tired of his sense of isolation. We went from just coexisting to meeting each other again, and now we're living with a renewed sense of purpose. I used to see sex as an obligation that I had to fulfill, but now it's something that I look forward to and enjoy a lot - just like when we were newly married and without children lol. So, in conclusion, I truly believe that James' intervention was a blessing in disguise. I'm grateful for it, and we're currently in contact with him for sessions where we both check in on how we're doing and set goals to continue strengthening our sacred union. We're now much more aware of the importance of putting God first to overcome any setbacks that life throws our way."
